COVID-19

We feel safe coming to school and the social-emotional aspect is addressed — a great testament to Hausner.
My son is thriving and that’s not a small statement to make during this pandemic.

In this time of uncertainty, we aim to offer students and their families a sense of anchor and safety.

We keep one step ahead of the game by not just addressing today’s needs but keeping our vision on what’s to come.

We strictly follow every safety protocol, stay up to date on the CDC and Santa Clara County health guidelines, as well as take every precaution possible to keep our community safe.

Social-emotional support during the pandemic

As we all learn to face the new norms, we continue to focus on our students’ needs and growth, as well as their families’. As always, we are committed to building a strong, successful, thriving extended school community.

Social distancing does not mean social isolation. We teach the kids that it’s all about keeping each other safe. We talk about our feelings and allow them to share what they’re going through and ask questions. We offer activities that aim to reduce stress and anxiety and bring upon joy, happiness, fun and laughter, such as acting, dancing, and role playing.
