Hausner’s needs-based tuition assistance program aims to make a Jewish Day School education accessible to every child, regardless of family income. This fund is made possible by generous donations from our parents, staff, and school community, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive.

To apply, visit the Clarity Application and create an account. The application takes less than 30 minutes, works on mobile devices, and lets you save your progress and return later. A one-time $65 fee is required to submit.

The process is completely confidential. If parents are separated or divorced, each parent must complete a separate application.

A Tuition Affordability Program for Jewish Communal Professionals

Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School is proud to offer the Professional Partner Program, a robust tuition affordability program for Jewish community professionals.

Community is at the heart of Hausner. Offering tuition support to Jewish professionals reflects our core values—kehillah, tikkun olam, and kavod—and honors those who dedicate their careers to serving the Jewish community.

We believe a Jewish education should be accessible to all. This program supports professionals who share our mission.

Who Qualifies?

• Palo Alto Professional Partner: 40% discount for full-time employees of:

  • Oshman Family JCC

  • Kehillah Jewish High School
     

• General Jewish Professional Partner: 30% discount for full-time staff at qualifying Jewish nonprofits.

Eligible families may also apply for additional financial aid.

Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School offers the Sibling Savings program to eligible families with more than one child enrolled at Hausner for the 2026-27 School Year.

Application Due by April 20, 2026

Who Qualifies?

• Gross household income under $650,000

• Liquid assets under $500,000

• Submission of 2025 tax return by April 20, 2026

Once eligibility is verified, the discount will be applied directly to your 2026–27 tuition balance.

Discounts Offered:

• 2 children enrolled: $1,000 off the 2nd child’s tuition

• 3 children enrolled: $1,000 off the 2nd child’s tuition and $2,000 off the 3rd child’s tuition

• 4 children enrolled: $1,000 off the 2nd child’s tuition, $2,000 off the 3rd child’s tuition, and $2,000 off the 4th child’s tuition

Please Note: Families currently receiving any other scholarship or assistance funds are not eligible. All information is kept strictly confidential.

At Hausner, we strive to make our education accessible to families by offering tuition assistance that helps reduce the financial burden. Families apply for assistance through the Clarity platform, where they provide details about their income, assets, and expenses. Every application is handled with confidentiality and reviewed by our Tuition Assistance Committee, which carefully evaluates each family's financial situation.

Awards are determined annually and given during re-enrollment for current students or upon enrollment for new students. Since financial circumstances can change, families reapply each year. The maximum award covers up to 75% of the total tuition, ensuring we can support as many families as possible.

2025-26 Hausner Tuition Assistance Policy

Step 1

Go to https://app.clarityapp.com/sign-up.

Step 2

Begin your application and add Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School to your student applicant entry. You can save your application and log out at any time and return later to complete it.

Step 3

Complete your application and pay the $65 Clarity application fee.

Step 4

Complete the Clarity Enhanced Tax Verification (ETV) process to release your W2 and personal tax return transcripts from the IRS. You'll be asked to authorize the sharing of your tax transcripts and verify your identity. This is a one-time security measure required by the IRS to protect against identity theft and the compromise of personal information. Only those filing US taxes will be prompted to complete this step. Please review the step-by-step walkthrough of this process.

Step 5

Submit your Clarity application and follow the link to return to your dashboard to upload any additional supporting documents requested by schools. Non-U.S. tax filers may be prompted to upload income verification and other necessary documentation. Keep in mind that at a later date, you may be prompted by the school via Clarity to upload additional documentation as needed.

No, a family’s financial situation is not taken into account in the admissions process.

There is no defined income range for tuition assistance eligibility. To determine eligibility, the school's Tuition Assistance Committee considers income, the assets of both parents, number of dependents, and number of children enrolled in the school, among other things.

Most families adjust spending priorities and carefully manage their assets to be able to afford their children’s education.

Tuition assistance awards pertain to tuition and fees that are listed on the enrollment contract only. Some class trips offer their own tuition assistance process.

Each parent, regardless of custodial arrangements, must complete a financial aid application and submit all pertinent tax documents.

Tuition assistance is a grant and you will not need to repay it. If at some future date your family has the capacity to do so, we hope you will consider making a donation to Hausner’s Annual Fund in order to help keep a Hausner education accessible to other families.

If you are applying for tuition assistance, please complete the Clarity application as thoroughly as possible. Be sure to include your most recent tax documents from your country of residence. If needed, we may request translated copies of these documents.

For families moving from Israel:
Please upload all tax forms submitted to the Israeli Tax Authority from the previous year, including:

• Form 106

• Form 1219 (if applicable)

These documents should be uploaded directly to your Clarity application.
