How to Apply for Tuition Assistance

Applying for need-based tuition assistance is a separate, confidential process from applying for admission to Hausner. Financial circumstances do not factor into admission decisions, and all information is kept confidential. Families receive tuition assistance and enrollment decisions at the same time.

Community is the heart of Hausner. Our Jewish Professional Partner Program recognizes professionals who dedicate their careers to strengthening Jewish communal life by making a Hausner education more accessible to their families.

Eligible families participating in the Jewish Professional Partner Program may also apply for additional need-based tuition assistance.

Supporting Families Growing at Hausner

We know that choosing a Hausner education for more than one child represents an especially meaningful commitment.

Eligible Hausner families with multiple children enrolled may qualify for tuition savings based on the number of children attending.  Eligibility requirements and application dates are established annually.

Apply for the SIBLING SAVINGS Program

No. A family’s financial circumstances are not taken into account as part of Hausner’s admission process.

The admission and tuition assistance processes are separate, and all financial information is kept confidential.

Need-based tuition assistance awards may cover up to 75% of tuition.

The amount awarded depends on a family’s demonstrated financial need and the availability of tuition assistance funds.

No. Families submit one Clarity application per household, even when more than one child is applying for tuition assistance.

If parents are separated or divorced, each parent must complete a separate application and provide the requested financial documentation.

No. Tuition assistance is awarded as a grant and does not need to be repaid.

Families must reapply for tuition assistance each year because financial circumstances can change.

If your family’s financial situation remains relatively stable, you can generally expect a similar level of assistance, although awards are reviewed and determined annually.

Tuition assistance applies to tuition and fees included on the enrollment contract.

Certain additional expenses, including some class trips, may have separate assistance opportunities.

Families relocating from another country should complete the Clarity application as thoroughly as possible and submit their most recent available tax and income documentation.

Additional or translated documents may be requested as needed.
