In this article, published in Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools, Hausner's Carol Piraino and Smita Kolhatkar discuss the importance of leading by example, embracing new technologies with an open mind, fostering collaboration, and maintaining transparent communication to harness the potential of generative AI for the benefit of students and educators alike.

The Buddy Program between Hausner students and the Moldaw Residences senior living community is a long-standing project that has been running for four years. The students and seniors are paired together for activities such as playing board games or observing Jewish holidays. This year, the students are writing short stories and essays about their Moldaw buddies to enter into the Better Together National Essay Competition. The program has been a success with many students and seniors forming close bonds.
