From Ground Up to Regionals: Hausner’s Robotics Debut
Hausner Marketing

What started as a new elective this year has quickly become a competitive success. Following a season of local matches, Hausner’s two inaugural Vex IQ robotics teams reached a major milestone this past weekend: competing in the Vex Regional Championship in Sacramento.

Building a competitive program from scratch is no small feat. Our teams dedicated their elective periods, Sunday sessions, and countless hours at home to design, build, and code their robots for this year's unique challenge. Qualifying for Regionals in a debut year—with no prior competition experience—is an impressive achievement that speaks to the students' technical skill and persistence.

The program's impact is already extending across campus, as two of our Middle School team members have been volunteering weekly to coach 3rd and 4th grade students in VEX GO robotics.

Congratulations to all our student engineers on a fantastic first season. We look forward to seeing how the program continues to grow!
