Hausner 5th Grader Publishes His First Book
Hausner Marketing

After nearly two years of writing, Hausner 5th grader Ethan Elstein has published the book he first began while at Hausner. His debut, Banana Face Accusation, blends humor, creativity, and imagination in a story that has already earned praise from Kerry Aradhya, the award-winning author of Ernő Rubik and His Magic Cube, who visited our campus last year. The book is now available for purchase on Amazon.

Thanks to the generosity of a Hausner community member who wishes to remain anonymous, 30 copies of Ethan’s book are being donated to local libraries and schools, including two for our very own Hausner library.

Ethan is also taking the next big step in his author journey: sharing his work with others. His first author visit is scheduled at Gabriela Mistral Elementary School in Mountain View this September, where he will read from his book and answer questions from students.

We are so proud of Ethan’s accomplishment and look forward to seeing how his passion for writing inspires his peers.
