This past January, Hausner students in 7th grade Algebra 1 and 8th grade Geometry classes participated in the AMC8 (American Mathematics competition 8), a highly respected nationwide math competition for middle school-aged students in grades 8 and below, organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). The test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions covering various topics in math, and is designed to test problem-solving abilities and mathematical reasoning skills.
