Hausner Alum Charlotte Kofman Receives 2026 Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award

Hausner is proud to celebrate Charlotte Kofman, Class of 2022, who has been named one of just 15 recipients nationwide of the 2026 Helen Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards.

The annual awards recognize Jewish teens who demonstrate exceptional leadership and a commitment to making the world a better place. Each recipient receives $36,000 in recognition of their work and its impact.

Charlotte was honored for her leadership of Let’s Talk Unite, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to helping young people engage in productive civic discourse across differences. Through workshops, educational resources, and peer-led programming, the organization has reached more than 1,000 teens.

Charlotte’s work reflects the spirit of tikkun olam, repairing the world, by helping young people develop the skills to listen, engage thoughtfully with differing perspectives, and build understanding across divides.

We are proud to see a Hausner graduate carrying these values forward and turning them into meaningful action in the wider world.

Kol hakavod, Charlotte, on this extraordinary recognition!
