Hausner Students Excel in National Math Competitions

We are proud to celebrate a remarkable series of math achievements by our students, reflecting deep problem-solving skills, perseverance, and a genuine love of mathematical challenge.

This year, Hausner students in grades 2–8 participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest, a national competition designed to stretch students beyond standard grade-level work through complex, non-routine problems. Competing against thousands of students nationwide, Hausner mathematicians demonstrated exceptional reasoning and accuracy.

National Recognition

In this year’s contest:

  • 11 Hausner students earned National Honor Roll recognition, placing them in the top 10% of participants nationwide in their grade.
  • 57 additional students received National Honorable Mention, recognizing performance in the top 50% nationally.

These distinctions represent a significant accomplishment at the national level and speak to students’ strong analytical thinking and persistence under pressure.

Perfect Scores — A Rare Achievement

We are especially proud to recognize Nevoh (Grade 3), Flynn (Grade 4), and Gabe (Grade 5), each of whom earned a perfect score (100%) on the contest — a rare achievement accomplished by only a small number of students nationwide in each grade.

Team Achievement Recognition

In addition to individual honors, Hausner’s 4th grade team earned the Noetic Team Achievement Award, recognizing teams that place in the top 10% nationally. This award highlights the collaborative strength of our students and the culture of teamwork within our math program.

Success Beyond the Classroom

Hausner students are also extending their learning beyond school-sponsored competitions. We congratulate Flynn on earning 3rd place in the 3rd grade division at a recent MathLeague.org competition, representing Hausner with distinction in a regional field.

For families interested in additional math opportunities, Math League is open to grades 3–6. Families who would like to learn more or express interest are welcome to email hapc.3030@gmail.com.

At Hausner, math is about more than answers. It’s about curiosity, confidence, and the willingness to take on meaningful challenges. We are incredibly proud of all our students who participated and grateful to our faculty for fostering a learning environment where deep mathematical thinking thrives.

Kol hakavod to all our mathematicians!
