Film Screening and Discussion: The Devil's Confession—the Lost Eichmann Tapes

On Tuesday, October 17, students in grades 6-8 from Hausner, Wornick, and Yavneh Middle Schools watched the new documentary The Devil's Confession: the Lost Eichmann Tapes, which sheds light on the hidden forces that concealed recordings of Adolf Eichmann, one of the chief architects of the Holocaust's Final Solution.

Following the screening, students heard from Nittai Malchin, a former Hausner student and board member whose grandfather, Peter Malchin, captured Eichmann in Argentina. Malchin talked about his grandfather's role in capturing Eichmann and the importance of fighting against all forms of intolerance and oppression.

The event was a powerful learning experience for students. It helped them to understand the horrors of the Holocaust and the importance of standing up against all forms of discrimination.
