Our 5th through 8th graders had their first ever Track & Field Twilight Meet at Woodside High School last Monday.
All runners participated in at least two races and the Hausner spirit was strong. One of the many events was the 4x400m boys and girls relay that ended under the night sky. All eight lanes on the track were filled with representatives from participating schools. Hausner's runners were lined up in the first and second lanes of the track. With the start of the race, our mighty Lions took off and the blue and gold batons moved quickly as our athletes each ran one full lap around the track. Teammates and families cheered each runner all the way to the finish line.
We are proud of our athletes for taking part in this first event and we look forward to many events to come. Way to go LIONS!!!
