After-school athletics are offered to students in Grades 5-8. Hausner is a part of the Small School Intermediate League (SSIL) program, which offers team competition among more than a dozen local private and public schools.

Our Athletic Values
Leadership and Teamwork
Students grow as athletes, and mature as young people. They are encouraged to be the best they can be on and off the field.
Social Connection
Camaraderie among teammates and personal confidence are more important than any win or loss.
Safety and Growth
Students feel accepted, safe, and welcomed on the field, no matter their level of experience or athletic ability. By eliminating tryouts, all students are able to enjoy team sports.
Exhilaration and Fun
Students experience exhilarating moments of personal and group achievement, develop a determined spirit no matter the outcome of their seasons, and make memories that last a lifetime.
When you see a kid believe in themselves—it's a moment you never forget.
