Athletics

In addition to an outstanding curricular Physical Education program, Hausner students enjoy a thriving after-school athletic program. The Athletic Director and coaches provide an inclusive atmosphere for students to learn and experience new sports with a focus on advancing their athletic abilities, strategic thinking, physical fitness, team play, and sportsmanship.

After-school athletics are offered to students in Grades 5-8. Hausner is a part of the Small School Intermediate League (SSIL) program, which offers team competition among more than a dozen local private and public schools.

Safety and Growth

Students feel accepted, safe, and welcomed on the field, no matter their level of experience or athletic ability. By eliminating tryouts, all students are able to enjoy team sports.
