Thank You: A Message from our Head of School & 2021-2023 Board President

Dear Friends,

The academic theme of  2022-2023, “To be Creative is to Be Human,” could not have been more apt. Thanks to YOUR wonderful generosity and support of Hausner, our school year was indeed filled with creativity of all kinds - from academic and scientific innovations, to imaginative thinking to artistic creations!
Thanks to you –  our supporters – we revealed a new logo and brand identity, inaugurated a new creativity lab, and incorporated Design Thinking skills into our curriculum. Our students won awards for social entrepreneurship projects, and also received top prizes in the Synopsys Science and Technology Championship. Our new track and field club, coached by Hausner parents Melissa and Will Gordon, also won medals throughout the season. In addition, our students took top places in the American Mathematics Competition 8 and pioneered an Ethics Bowl competition. This was also a year of new beginnings as we renamed our 5th through 8th grade program the Upper School.

We are proud to be a place where Jewish values underpin our strong academic program. We believe that educating the next generation of leaders in our community is now more important than ever, and we are grateful to you for making this happen.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who volunteered your time and made generous donations to Hausner over the past year.

With Gratitude,

Rabbi Daniel Lehmann
