Staying Connected with our Alumni

Briana Balaban headshot

My name is Briana Balaban, and I am a proud graduate of the Hausner class of 2007. It is such an honor to be back in the community that cemented my love of Judaism. One of my best memories as a Hausner student was my 8th grade trip to Israel where I visited the Kotel for the first time. Being surrounded by other women and feeling an instant connection is a defining moment of my growth as a Jewish adult. As a member of the Hausner Board of Directors, I am so excited to once again be surrounded by others who share this faith and these types of moments. I can’t wait to help the next generation have their own defining Hausner experience and grow into their Jewish identity.

I'm grateful to everyone in our alumni community who continues to support our school. Thanks to you, Hausner continues to inspire a joy of learning, and to educate the next generation of children. This past year, we launched the Alumni Spotlight to keep our alumni up-to-date on all things Hausner.

Last year, despite the challenges of the pandemic, we were delighted to have a strong alumni presence at the annual Spring Benefit, as well as to host a gathering for college and high-school aged Hausner alumni. Nineteen students joined us on campus on Graduation Day, to reconnect with one another and with beloved teachers.
